Cecil’s Award Winning Chili

  • 1 lb ground meat
  • 1 family size tomato soup
  • 1 can Rotel Tomoatoes and Green Chilis
  • 2 tbs your favorite chili powder
  • 1 tbs spoon ground cumin
  • 1 onion
  • olive oil

WHAT’S THIS!!! All Purpose Seasoning

Brown in a little olive oil, 1/2 cup of chopped onion. When translucent, add about a pound of ground meat. When meat is done, drain, cool and then sprinkle and work in WHAT’S THIS!!!. I also add a little chili powder into the mix. This process adds flavor to the meat and just makes the chili better. Bring mixture almost to boiling point then cook on low heat for a couple of hours while stirring often. Once it has cooked a while, I will taste and then add just a little ketchup to smooth it out. You can add beans if you choose. I usually double this recipe because most of the time I am cooking for at least 8-10 people. You may want to play with the amount of chili and cumin seasoning. Depending on the group, you may want to make it hotter.
